About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, the Lead Technology Integrator (AV) will be responsible for leading technical installation and construction projects, set up & configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and system support and mentorship for all technology, audio, video, access, CCTV, video conference, network, room control, and home automation systems.
The ideal candidate must be a team-oriented leader with strong organizational and supervisory skills to effectively oversee installation crews, product delivery and site coordination, ensuring all technical services are carried out effectively and efficiently to meet the required scope and timeline deliverables.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills when collaborating with, directing, and reporting to, all internal and external team members regarding work tasks, coordination efforts, potential issues, quality assurance, and work progress. They will be the daily face of the company to the on-site team, including clients, designers, developers and architects and their staff. They will update and document system information and user credentials and create and implement system operation manuals for end user adoption.

Your Impact
Lead Integrator/Installer:
- Oversee the installation and integration of home and commercial automation systems.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installations.
Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure system reliability and client satisfaction.
- Conduct inspections and quality audits at various project stages.
- Address and resolve any quality issues or discrepancies.
Set Up & Configuration:
- Configure and program automation systems to meet client specifications.
- Ensure seamless integration of various components, such as smart devices, security systems, and audio/video equipment.
- Test and validate system functionality to meet performance standards.
Systems Support:
- Provide technical support to clients, both remotely and on-site.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions or user issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automation technologies and software updates.
Team Mentorship:
- Train and mentor installation teams in best practices and industry standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
- Lead by example and promote a positive working environment.
Perform other duties as assigned based upon business need.
About You
- 10+ years of proven experience in the installation and integration of home and commercial automation systems is required.
- 4+ years of leadership and team management experience is required.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed is required.
- L2 Police background check will be required.
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Expeience interacting with contractors, trades, architects, and designers is preferred.
- Certifications in relevant automation technologies (e.g., CEDIA, Crestron, Control4) is preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of automation technologies, including smart home devices, audio/video systems, lighting control, and security systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Exceptional communication skills.
